After years of researching the Human Energy Field (HEF) and studying numerous healing modalities, Dr. Barbara Brennan developed Brennan Healing Science (BHS), a holistic healing modality based on the Human Energy-Consciousness System and its relationship to health and disease.
This work combines High Sense Perception skills and hands-on energy healing techniques to assist individuals with their personal process of healing. It touches every aspect of a person’s life to improve the quality of life. |
A BHS Practitioner holds each healing session as a sacred experience. The practitioner’s primary objective is to support you in your unique healing journey with proficiency, integrity, and compassion. The BHS Practitioner is committed to creating a safe, empathic, and life-affirming environment to best facilitate your healing and transformational process.
In the broader context of community and world service, the BHS Practitioner applies his or her knowledge and training to support the evolution of the human spirit. BHS may be combined with traditional medicine or other modalities. When done so, BHS can be a powerful vehicle for facilitating change on a holistic level that feeds both the physical body and the soul. |
Program Overview:
I recently completed the Advanced Studies 2-year training program at the Barbara Brennan School of Healing in Oxford, UK. The program offers professional courses of study in Brennan Integration Work. It provides a powerful journey of transformation—expanding and deepening facilitation skills as a healer. Year One focuses on a practitioner’s capacity to attend to a client’s ongoing personal process. It emphasizes body and energy awareness in a person’s emotional and psychological experience. Year Two is a continuation and deepening providing a clear understanding of individual process dynamics, and an ability to deepen a client’s work, both within a session and over the course of successive sessions. Students participate in group presentations, and specialized segments are presented to incorporate techniques to help clients manage emotional intensity. I consider my first 4 years of training in the Professional Studies program at the Barbara Brennan School of Healing to be the foundation of all healing work that I do, as well as an accelerated, unparalleled personal growth path. As a Certified Brennan Healing Science Practitioner, I have practiced and integrated essential tools to support you on your unique, sacred journey...and to continue to support myself also. I am a highly trained healer, having completed over 2,000 hours of coursework through a combination of residential course weeks and distance learning modules. The undergraduate 4-year Professional Studies Program consists of 20 course weeks, a 2-week anatomy and physiology course, 28 integrative distance learning modules, and 72 personal process sessions. During the 4th year, students are required to write a project paper and present a written and oral case study. Throughout the course of the program, students work with approximately 100 practice clients. The distance learning modules include written reflections of one’s work with these practice clients as well as one’s personal process and journey of transformation. Thus, throughout the year, the learning is continuous and deepens outside of the classroom. Students also are required to work with a therapist or supervisor. They must complete at least 72 hours of personal process sessions or individual counseling with a recognized psychotherapist or Brennan Integration Practitioner® (BIP). This is a key component of the training since these sessions help students heal core wounds and move beyond blocks in their development, allowing them to become effective guides in the healing journey of others. |
