If the devastating fires of Northern California have affected your life in any way, please seek support. You are not alone and you will need help to get through this.
My heart goes out to all who have suffered the most severe losses and injuries. And to those who have lived with the worry and uncertainty regarding their loved ones, neighbors, and coworkers, as well as their homes, possessions, and communities. I acknowledge the heroism and exhaustion of fire fighters, police, medical personnel, government officials, relief workers and the generous hosts of displaced families, and everyone else who has answered the call to serve at this time. This event has shocked and traumatized many of my neighbors near and far, to varying degrees. It will take time to recover.
